There is no “magic pill” or quick fix to create a culture of engagement. It requires a commitment from the top of the organization, and a willingness to include employees at all levels of the organization. Each of the deliverables offered by Verbalocity can stand alone as tools to help build a culture of engagement.
The talking heads were a great representation of what we were offering at the start of Verbalocity, Inc. Fun little fact, the two colors were based off the two dogs names we had at the time, Bleu and Black.
In order to determine a benchmark for leadership development, we administer our own online Employee Engagement Survey (EES) that measures against the Engaged Leadership model, the foundation of the leadership development offered by Verbalocity.
To ensure steps are being taken to improve based on feedback from a 360° assessment, we schedule monthly Accountability Sessions with leadership development participants.
A critical aspect of ongoing leadership beyond a training session is specific feedback from a 360° assessment. We take advantage of the decades of research of The Leadership Circle, and the certification given through CCE (approved by International Coach Federation). With the certification we can administer the Leadership Circle Profile, Manager Edition, Leadership Culture Survey, and Follow-Thru Tool in conjunction with our leadership development initiatives.
We offer leadership training based on the leadership platform, Engaged Leadership. While often delivered as a stand-alone event, it also is part of Verbalocity’s leadership development program, Engage!
We offer webinars and tele-seminars when appropriate to build on an existing leadership development program. We recognize that face-to-face meetings are not always practical for reinforcement, and encourage clients to find ways to utilize our webinar and tele-seminar offerings as reinforcement.
The founder of Verbalocity, Clint Swindall, is the author of two leadership books, both published by John Wiley & Sons. Engaged Leadership: Building a Culture to Overcome Employee Disengagement addresses the leader’s role in employee engagement, and Living for the Weekday: What Every Employee and Boss Needs to Know about Enjoying Work and Life addresses the employee’s role.
